Du har brug for

  • About 5-6 Plastic Bath Bomb Molds
  • 16 oz. Baking Soda
  • 8 oz. Citric Acid
  • 1 oz. Rosehip Seed Oil
  • 0.3 oz. Polysorbate 80
  • 0.5 oz. Lilac Fragrance Oil
  • Witch Hazel in a Spray Bottle
  • Pink Rose Petals
  • Queen's Purple Mica

Sådan gør du

1
Push 16 ounces of baking soda and 8 ounces of citric acid through a strainer into a large mixing bowl, and use gloved hands or a spoon to mix them.
2
Add 1 ounce of rosehip seed oil, 0.5 ounces of Lilac Fragrance Oil, and 0.3 ounces of polysorbate 80. Use your hands to fully incorporate the wet and dry ingredients.
3
Place about 1/3 of the mixture into a separate bowl and add Queen's Purple Mica until you're happy with the color - we recommend about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon. Mix in thoroughly.
4
Drop a pinch of rose petals into one half of the 5-6 molds. Check the consistency of the bath bomb mixture. It should feel like wet sand and hold its shape when squeezed. If it’s too dry, use one hand to spritz both containers with witch hazel and use your other hand to mix.
5
Add white bath bomb mixture over the rose petals until the half of the mold is about 2/3 full. Press the bath bomb mixture in firmly. Layer purple bath bomb mixture on top until the mold is full and press firmly. Repeat with the other half of the bath bomb mold. Clear any powder from the seams of the mold, match the eyelets, and close. Make sure to direct pressure on the seams to prevent dents.
6
Let the bath bombs dry overnight in the mold. To use, drop into a hot bath and enjoy!
